Constrained by the circular site boundary, the Sunshine Loft adopts a round plan that follows the natural slope of the site down to the lake, with open seating areas oriented toward the surrounding landscape. Supported by three V-shaped steel frames, the structure connects its second floor to the park via a roofless ramp and stair. The second level houses a café, bookstore, and open leisure lounge, along with a diamond-shaped multipurpose hall for meetings, exhibitions, and lectures. Cantilevered with steel cables to maximize panoramic views of the lake and distant hills, the space is clad in perforated corrugated metal mesh, creating a light veil that lends a translucent quality to the space.
