Lacking reference or sense of field is contradictory in architecture design, but it also provides possibilities.

The site of the Science Museum is located in vast infill land with only a pink building of continental style as its sole neighbor. We use color white, grey and blue on its exterior to deconstruct the sweetness and the enthusiasm of its neighbor.

A paragraph of ancient Chinese freeform calligraphy softens the massive exhibition cube. A touch of temporary feeling can be added to mainstream exhibition space, such as a splash of color or seascape, a unknown name, a random calligraphy, a untouchable installation or several grotesque furniture, which will finish the last mosaic of the building. The participation of installation artists and their theories of art will bring a sense of place into the landscape and the architecture and hence form a complicated axis between architecture and other forms of arts.
