The framework and finishes complete all the actions of transition form two-dimension to the three-dimension and create a crowded culture of the studio.

The architect studio space is located in a pitched roof loft in a three story pink house. The loft is high and large. The studio provides enough space for mental activities including design and drawing, but we want some physical activities after working overtime.

Framework and the different finishes are important elements in such a space with diversified functions. When necessary, this combination can be removed or changed. The original temporary sense of a loft is intentionally or unintentionally kept and it also reflects indirectly the architect's understanding of economy.

Framework - walls, shelves, tables, etc. are made from a 38X38 square steel and angle steel. Attached to the frame, the finishes are made of plywood or pine boards, which can be opened, rotated or panned and partitioned (partition + sticking drawings).

Tubes are stacked to form storage space, which can be used to store drawing scrolls. The opaque glass lamp table is a traditional copy desk. There are also the movable panels of drawing tables ... ...The combination of all the spatial elements, together with the high, large and holistic space in the middle (for films, lectures and badminton…) .
