With a contrast to the warm pink color of the whole high-tech park, the bookstore, for Nansha people, holds a quality of tranquility and texture.

Books bring different life experiences to their readers, and just like movies, distort the human experience by stretching or shrinking their senses of time and space. The bookstore is a book in itself and gives people richer experience of layers by splitting and stitching the three dimensional time and space (ground, scattered high and low ceilings, elevated shelves and distortion of lines) and through the combination of raw materials (original concrete structure) and refined texture (log and stone). All the events that are expected to unfold inside this “book (store)”will eventually help people restructure another experience of life.
